Eyes On Maine

If you couldn’t tell from my last posting, I have taken a little bit of an interest over Question 1 in Maine.  As I write this, the polls have closed and the results are trickling in.  My hope, along with the hopes of the gay and lesbian population, as well as those who believe in equal rights for all, is that “No” will win and gay marriages will be performed.  When I wake up in the morning, I hope my reaction will be a “FUCK YEAH” and not a “HELL NO!” Seriously, it will be one of the two.

Second, I realize that my postings have dwindled and I haven’t made it around to my regular reads or commented as much as I have in the past. It isn’t for the lack of desire, I just have my hands full with Lit. and life at the moment.  I make no promises for doing better this month, but I should be a bit more frequent in Dec.

  1. My reaction = same as yours, either way. Damn! It’s still at 50/50.

  2. I am so sorry about the Maine election results. I wonder where the money came from. As for the posts, I understand, but I still miss you!

  3. Sorry about the vote…..I believe it’s the teabagger group energizing and regrouping, and everyone else nodding off……..
I’m in the same boat as to posting anything of any worth……..busy with one’s own life is a worthy excuse, but as Mari says, we miss you……….
