Okay, I spent about two hours and over thirty miles on an exercise bike at the gym watching President Obama’s speech to Congress about Healthcare. Needless to say, my ass hurts so I’m keeping this short. At least I wasn’t thrown off of it like the treadmill incident a couple weeks ago… I call that progress. Anyway, I have two points I want to make for now:
1. Democrat, Republican or Independent doesn’t matter. When the President speaks, you should listen. That means you should show some level of class by not texting during his speech, US House Minority Whip Eric Cantor.
2. South Carolina’s selection in elected officials makes my selection of past dates look pretty damn decent in comparison. Seriously, do ya’ll look at the ballots when you vote? The latest, being Republican Rep. Joe Wilson who screamed out “You Lie” to the President. Someone forgot to tell him that heckling at a comedy act is one thing. Doing it during a Presidential Address to Congress, not a good thing. Oh, especially when telling the President he’s lying about something that he’s not.
Between the two, I’ve decided that Rep. Wilson is the jackass of the night.

Un fucking believable, wasn’t it? Since when was a President treated with so much disrespect?
Like everyday lately! But you are both right……good speech, unbelievable reactions! The shouting, groaning and texting just showed how shamefully disrespectful the right has become toward the president. I hope the American people took note of which faces were all pinched up…..vote those suckers out!
And I’ll bet these same people bemoan the lack of respect from young people…way to lead, eh?
Joe Wilson is a liar. My condolences to South Carolina.
The rudeness was unbelievable. South Carolina has an impressive list of imbeciles, both past and present, in office. I’ll have to check out their newspapers and see if they are at least embarrassed.
I really can’t feel sorry for So. Carolina, they elected those numb skulls that represent them.
Time to quit playing patty cake with them, maybe Obama realizes it.
