I considered writing about the crazy lady who brought her birth certificate in a Ziploc bag to a town hall meeting in DE to demand answers about Barack Obama’s status as a native-born citizen, which was then by the crowd breaking out into the Pledge of Allegiance (because their minds are like those of ignorant school children). However, Jon Stewart did a pretty good job covering it last night, so I’ll let this video do the speaking for me.

I just finished watching this on DailyKos. Stewart hit the nail on the head as always. It’s absolutely amazing that these people just won’t let this go. They will never be satisfied. There is nothing that can be done to dissuade them from their delusion. We are witnessing the birth of the equivalent of the grassy knoll and the 9/11 inside job. Sadly, this will never go away.

Why would anyone attempt to get their news from anyone but Jon Stewart? As always, he gives you the truth and makes you laugh at the same time. I guess it is a good thing that there are so many crazies in the world, without them poor Jon would be out of a job. So, while this issue is incredibly horrifying for those of us with a brain, we must look at the bright side and appreciate the fact that it keeps Jon Stewart on our TVs.
