Did you catch this bit of news today?
Oh, and where does Marion Berry get off with voting against same-sex marriage? After all, he went to jail after having a few priors with the crack cocaine… after being caught in a sting operation. Of course, as he put it, “Bitch set me up!”
He also doesn’t seem to be able to pay his taxes, without having the back taxes taken from his paychecks, …. which is something many gays are able to do. Oh, and don’t forget, he also had issues with traffic violations.
However, law-abiding citizens who contribute to society, pay their taxes, and who can raise children just as well as any straight person should be the ones denied the ability to marry the person that he or she loves??!!???
Marion Berry is such the moral barometer… and I’m the fucking tooth-fairy.
Fucking bigot.
Oh well. I’d just like to day that congrats to Maine for being #5. Hopefully the plans for a referendum by the prejudice jackasses will fail up there. Also, I hope everything runs smoothly for D.C. to recognize gay marriage.

Mr RK and I were just talking about this at dinner – I am so embarrassed and pissed off that our “Left Coast” doesn’t seem enlightened enough to pass marriage equality, but even places like Iowa and Maine have done it!! As for Mr. Berry…well, being a crack-using, whore-seeking, tax-evading heterosexual is better than a committed loving homosexual, right? Oh, sorry – that’s a Republican argument.
I can’t believe we are still waiting for this. Congratulations to Maine!
Hooray for my state of origin, Maine! Now, as for Marion Berry, perhaps he should hook up with another hypocrite, Rush Limbaugh, on another planet…
For some reason, D, I pictured a hand with a crank as the middle finger was slowly raised…
If pastors don’t want gay people getting married, don’t marry them in your church. Simple.
I know lots of people who get married without being in a church (myself being one of those) or having a religious representative.
A church doesn’t marry people, people marry people. They have the old church-as-Jesus’ -bride thing confused…
Marriage is a fundamental right and a matter of law and equality…not religion. That’s what the states are finally figuring out….don’t know what’s going on with Calif….I’m working on it!!!!!!
I think every thing has been said..it is only a matter of time
and if James Carvel is right..Dems will be in charge for the next 40 something years.
Here in Minnesota talk is being resumed..
but this will be a nasty fight here..we have Michele Bachman one of the biggest Homophobe’s in the world.
