I know this might be hard to believe, but I’m not much of a Rush Limbaugh fan. (I know, say it ain’t so!) Perhaps it’s because he’s a judgmental, homophobic, pill-popping fat-ass who doesn’t understand why women don’t like him. Oh, and before I go on here’s a segment featuring Keith Olbermann & Janeane Garofalo who discussed this very topic:
Where was I? Oh yeah. So apparently I’m not the only one who cannot stand Rush Limbaugh. In fact, the RNC Chairman, Michael Steele doesn’t have very many good things to say about him either. You can read about it here. Now, I don’t mirror the beliefs of Michael Steele. However, he wasn’t completely horrible as the Lieutenant Governor of Maryland a couple years ago. In fact, I actually voted for him versus Sen. Cardin when he ran for the seat. Then again, Ben Cardin did swipe Michael Steele’s social security number. That act was what really made me vote for Michael Steele. I can’t overlook messing with the personal information of others. It’s a serious black mark.
Although RNC Chairman Steele and I do not have the same beliefs on many issues, I have to give the man props for taking on Rush Limbaugh. Mr. Limbaugh is like the Pied Piper of ignorant conservatives. Most in the RNC wouldn’t touch him with a ten-foot pole. So, Good for Michael Steele.

I wonder how long it will take Steele to crawl back to Rush and beg for forgiveness? I cannot recall a single Republican that has stood his ground with that bully (I am sure I am wrong and there are a few).
Seems like Rush is drunk with power (or something perhaps pharmacological).
Now if Rush ever ran for office (and won) I would leave the country!
These people should grow a pair and take him on. Limbaugh and his ilk (Hannity, O’Reilly) are partially responsible for the death of the republican party.
Maybe he and Ann Coulter should get together, or isn’t that a frightening thought??

He is a scumbag…I was cracking up this am while on Joe My God…our girl, Lynette, at Big Ass Belle, was showing her colorful take on the situation, with her comments, as well as many of the others that keep me well entertained! Don’t know how to highlight their sites on comments, as I’m technologically challenged, but you can go to my blogroll and check them out…worth the effort!
Become independent seems to be the better choice. I feel most people are not taking on complete agendas of either party…Steele I believe know this..Limbaugh cannot.
bchboy1- Actually, I am an Independent who has never voted a straight ticket. I think it’s important to vote for people that match your beliefs and desires for this country. Just selecting someone based solely on their party affiliation without doing a bit of research is just as effective as those who don’t vote.
