According to this article, preparations are underway to retool things a bit to make way for the announcement of Hillary Clinton as the next Secretary of State. The Obama staff does have some cleaning up to do, if you will, since he did sling her through the mud, pretty much saying that her foreign policy experience was crap. Again, there’s a bit of retooling to be done before the announcement is made. Otherwise, he’s likely to get hit with talking from both sides of his mouth. Little do people remember that campaigning for office is… well… a bit harsh. However, I still say that the announcement of Hillary Clinton taking the position is not far away. Seriously.

I am still happy just having a President-Elect who can put a proper sentence together!
I thought she was going to be announced already, or did I get that wrong? It’s almost like “drumroll please” and then TA DA!!!!!! Everyone else on the team was pretty much “okay here they are”, and now we have to have drama? I love that she will be in this position, but I just thought it was a little over the top leaving it ’til last and making it be the BIG PRESENTATION!!!!!!!!! Am I being silly?
Mari- I agree with you, as it will be nice to see that we will have someone who can actually pronounce words properly… like “nuclear”.
Chris- I have always felt that Hillary is one of those drama types. So I’m not too surprised. Now, I just hope that years down the road, she will recount her visits to other nations with accuracy. I could just see her saying, “I remember riding through the streets of London under heavy fire.” Wouldn’t work very well for her, I’m afraid.
A good choice it is, but still P’s me off that woman have been delegated to Secretary status, even if it is step up from VP.
Apparently it is going to be announced Monday morning.
SAF- Yep, that’s what I had just heard. How jacked up would it be if they announced someone completely different for that position? I know that they won’t, but it would be interesting nonetheless.
