There has been speculation for the past couple weeks that Hillary Clinton will accept the position of Secretary of State. Since Turkey Day has now ended, it’s a mere matter of hours before she accepts the position in Obama’s cabinet. All I know is that in the game of political Red Rover, he’s building up a winning team that I would be more than happy to join. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, I did apply to work for his administration.
Sadly, I have a better shot at winning the big jackpot for the next Powerball game… oh, and I do not live in a Powerball state. Oh, I know… I have a better shot of NASA calling to inform me that I have been selected in their astronaut program… and I do not have a degree in engineering, nor am I a military pilot. Hell, I’m not even a wooden plane pilot.
I realize that I do not have the experience needed to join Mr. Obama’s administration. However, there is a slight chance that I might make it. In the application, there is a question of political affiliation, as some positions require bipartisanship. Being that I’m an Independent might just be the ticket!! After all, I loved Red Rover… even if the other kids never asked for me.

I am so excited about the team he is putting together. I honestly think he is going to do a wonderful job and I am READY for W to get out of MY house.
I’m looking forward to the 20th of January!! I hear that the “taxation without representation” license plates will return to the presidential limo. Bush had them removed soon after he took office.
I can’t wait either to see how the government will work under the new team. I think they will do great, and it will take some time to see change with all they have on their plates, but it’s important for America too see some immediate results and have continued faith in the choice they made.
D-what position did you appy for?
To you both…have you read H&M in the last couple of days? Very disturbing comments by trolls…sounded like one person under many different names; either that or they all talk alike and use the same lines over and over…very hateful, but saying everyone else is, etc. To me it sounds like people are getting more organized and infecting blog sites with their venom…even though it made me mad and I wanted to comment, I backed off because they could get on my site, or someone else I follow, and I was feeling protective. They got blasted from enough people anyway! Let me know how you felt about it? I think we all need to blog about this extreme group…we won’t change them, but maybe just make them look as ridiculous as they sound.
Chris- I was able to make three choices for departments, and then three choices on positions. It won’t go anywhere. However, I thought it was sorta neat just to apply.
I believe it’s one person. I emailed M&H about the settings they could change for comments on their website. The grandson will probably have to take care of it. Seriously tasteless!!
And if truth be known, a little scary!!! I think it’s one person too, but I don’t trust people like that, as they seem really hell bent on selling their convictions, and despite the inconsistencies with their supposed religious feelings, seem violent and hateful…I loved that they turned that around! When I was at a rally, the other camp was so mean and making vile remarks, and all of us were just feeling so joyful and friendly and having a good time…probably because all of the honking was for us!!! It’s just so sad….just when I have faith in my species, it gets a little deflated!
